Harvest...

K helping feed the hungry guys.  She ate everytime one of them stopped to eat also.  A good little helper though.  She passes out plates & forks to everyone.

Actually started with milo this year that was ready to be cut. 

Play-Doh

K has really enjoyed getting out her Play-Doh here lately.  We used a angel cookie cutter with it the other day & she really liked that.  Finding some good projects for this winter once it is too cold to be outside.  Can't complain right now though because the weather is perfect!

Yummy Yummy...

I had the recipe for this dessert sitting in my Betty Crocker recipe box since last February just waiting for my birthday.  My sister was nice enough to make it for me.  It was delicious!!!  The link for the recipe is posted below.

But I want a sucker.  Isn't this so sad!  Sorry K if you don't go on the potty anymore you are not getting a sucker.  Everything was going great until we started to talk about going #2 & it all went down hill from there.  We will get back on track one of these days. 

One more note.  Harvest is in full swing now.  Pictures later this week.

My birthday was last week so we decided to head to the State fair for a few hours last week.

Notice the sign!  K really enjoyed all the animals at the fair.  We saw lots & lots of animals.

The leash came in handy at the fair.  Either on your leash or in your stroller K was repeated many times that day.

New GEICO Commercial - Piggy

This is K's favorite commercial right now.  Cracks her up each time it comes on.

Princess gone Superhero..

My mom sent this picture to me this morning.  I assumed right away it was one of the boys in their super hero costumes.  But nope it's my little K trying to be a superhero while the boys are at school.  Princess might need some superhero powers after school once they find out she in was their stuff:)   

K & I ate dinner outside tonight (J was out working tonight).  Busy time of year again.  Also a picture of K's toenails.  Her aunt painted them today & she was so excited to show them off to everyone. 

I am hoping K stays in her bed all night tonight.  She seems to like to sneak into our bed around 4 or 5 am most nights which is fine if she goes back to sleep.  That was not the case at 5 am today.  She usually brings a few blankets & babies along with her (even a pair of J shorts last night?) so our bed fills up fast.  I have even ended up without a pillow!

I won't even go into our potty training issues.  Too tired for that tonight.

K's oldest cousin X had his 10th birthday on Friday.  He had a bunch of his classmates & cousins over for a birthday party after school.  Of course K was there & had a blast! 

K was trying to dunk her head in the bucket to cool off like all the boys.

As usually we had a busy Labor Day weekend which was full of lots of fun.  We of course cheered on the cats on Saturday after attending the kids races up at the high school.  K loved being able to run around on the football field all the kids.  Next year she will be able to participate in the races. 

K loved hanging out with one of her little buddies at the get togethers.  She kept confusing her with her little buddy from Manhattan though.  

K & J riding in a car down at the carinval.  They loved all the rides.

K put some of her band aids on the toliet seat also this weekend.  Glad I found this before our guest came over.  I should have known it was too quiet in there.  I am just glad she got all the wrappers to the trash can!

Since we have been gone...

K has enjoyed a few smores.  Yummy!!!

She likes to help sit the table.  This time she decided to use my towels on the chairs as well. She would get so mad when they would slide off. 

And she started to sleep in her toddler bed.  She has stayed in her bed till at least 6:30 am the last four nights!  Another big event is that she is starting to go on the potty more each day.  Hopefully she can keep up the good work!
